I am always so honored when a family trusts me to capture their precious newborn. These are the images that go in frames, on walls, in albums, and are treasured for generations. It’s so incredibly humbling to be invited into my clients home to witness the love they share.

Chris and Danielle welcomed baby Adelyn Brielle into their family. Baby Adelyn has two older brothers who just adore her. I loved the meaningful details they incorporated in their lifestyle session. Adelyn’s Nana gave her a lace bonnet that opens up into a handkerchief to be used on her wedding day. It was such a beautiful gift! And the hot air balloon themed nursery could not have been any cuter. After having two boys, mama was all about those BOWS!!! We used lots of different ones which was so fun. I also loved incorporating their wedding rings.

Newborn sessions with me are very relaxed. We let the baby run the show! You don’t have to try and time feedings or naps around my arrival. We take our time (usually about 2 hours) so that when she is awake we get those sweet images where baby is in your arms, and when she drifts off to sleep I can get more of the “posed” images of her in a swaddle. My newborn posing is simple and very safe.

My goal is to capture the love you all have for each other, and to document all those sweet tiny details of your newborn (ohhh baby toes!) I also love to get images of the nursery if you have one. I like to schedule for late morning when everyone has had time to get ready (and drink some coffee) and when there is lots of beautiful natural light coming in through the windows.
