I was thrilled when Emily and Seth asked me to photograph their Colorado destination wedding! They drove out from Texas and we met a few days before their wedding to capture their Pikes Peak engagement session. They chose a location in Woodland Park with an incredible view of Pikes Peak, a famous mountain summit in Colorado, as it is the highest summit of the southern Front Range of the Rocky Mountains!
The hike up to the overlook was so worth it for this incredible view! Seth proposed to Emily on top of a mountain in Asia, so it was fitting that they had a mountain top engagement session! Then we hiked down to an open field that was full of wildflowers. The sunset was gorgeous and it gave us that glowy, dreamy backlighting I just love! I loved how they made each other laugh during our shoot. It was so evident how much they adore one another! And I absolutely loved the delicate leaf details on Emily’s engagement ring.
It was such a joy getting to know this incredibly kind, thoughtful couple. Hearing about how the Lord brought them together was so encouraging. And in just a few days, I get to see them again to photograph their wedding!
Congratulations, Emily and Seth!!! Thank you for allowing me the honor of capturing your love story!

These pictures are amazing! Thanks, Elena, for not only taking fantastic pictures but for the write up you did for both these shots and the wedding pics. I’ve never seen that before and it adds a wonderful touch to all the pics. I’m Seth’s mom and I couldn’t be happier with these and the wedding pics. Thanks so much!
