Hearth House Venue Wedding | Rebekah + Felix

Weddings

May 29, 2023

Felix and Rebekah’s spring wedding at the Hearth House Venue in Monument, Colorado was a perfect day! I first met Rebekah last year as she was a bridesmaid in another wedding I photographed. I was so honored when she reached out to me to photograph her own upcoming wedding!

We started with bridal details at the sweet little Bridal Cottage where Rebekah and her bridesmaids were getting ready. Rebekah’s mom helped her get into her dress from The Bridal Collection, which was absolutely gorgeous! She then shared a first look with her bridesmaids which was so fun to witness! She also shared a first look with her dad which was one of the sweetest moments of the day. Then we all headed to the church for their ceremony!

The ceremony was so beautiful. Rebekah’s dad walked her down the isle, and the look on Felix’s face said it all. Their ceremony included a unity candle, songs of worship, and their first kiss as husband and wife! After family portraits, the bridal party headed to a nearby trailhead with a gorgeous mountain view. It had been raining all morning, but thankfully by the time we were there for portraits, the rain stopped and we even got a little bit of sun coming through the clouds! The bridal party was so much fun and they all looked amazing! I loved the color palette of the eucalyptus green, lavender, and soft peach. Their florals were absolutely stunning! After bridal party and bride and groom portraits, we headed to the Hearth House Venue for their grand entrance and dinner catered by Silver Spoons Catering!

Later on, we stole the Bride and Groom away for some more portraits at Monument Lake. The post rain fog looked so beautiful and gave their images such an ethereal quality. The way that the couple made each other light up, the way that Felix adored his bride, and the way that Rebekah looked at him with so much love was so beautiful to see. Felix also brought his beloved classic Corvette (which we also featured during their engagement session!) The ground was a little muddy, but I brought along a plastic liner to place on the ground under Rebekah’s dress to keep it as clean as possible.

We then headed back to the reception where the couple enjoyed their first dances, toasts by the maid of honor and best man, the best dance party, and a cake cutting along with an entire cookie cart for dessert! They ended their beautiful day with a bubble grand exit to their getaway car (the Corvette, of course!) Their day was full of many happy tears, beautiful moments, and lots of laughter and joy. It was so evident that Felix and Rebekah are dearly loved by their family and friends. It was such an honor to be there to document their incredible day.

Congratulations, Rebekah and Felix! I pray every blessing over you and your marriage as you start your life together! Thank you for the honor of being your wedding photographer.

xoxo, Elena
