Kaitlyn and Jared’s wedding at Ridgeline Community Church in Castle Rock was full of so much love and joy! We started the day at the church where everyone was getting ready. I took some shots of Kaitlyn’s beautiful details and then some of her getting ready. She shared a first look with her bridesmaids, which was such a sweet moment! She shared one with her father as well. Once everyone was ready, the bride and groom shared a first look at the church. They chose to do it in the sanctuary so that their family and friends who wanted to share this moment with them could watch from the balcony, which was so sweet and thoughtful.

After their first look, we headed to Gateway Mesa Open Space for some Bride and Groom portraits, as well as their bridal party pictures. I just loved the pink, navy and white color pallet Kaitlyn chose for their attire and gorgeous florals! We had been watching the forecast and were a little worried it might rain. Thankfully it turned out to be a beautiful day!

We all headed back to Ridgeline Community Church in Castle Rock to hide the bride and groom before their ceremony began. The ceremony was so beautiful and meaningful. The couple shared their vows, exchanged rings, took communion, and shared their first kiss as husband and wife!

Kaitlyn changed into a darling reception dress and the newlyweds and bridal party were announced at the reception. The bride and groom shared their first dance, and then invited the bridal party onto the dance floor for a fun group dance! Kaitlyn’s maid of honor, Ellie, shared a beautiful toast. It was so evident how much she loves Kaitlyn and how close they are. Then Jared’s older brother Jacob shared his toast. His speech brought everyone to tears as he shared how Jared had been there for him in a really big way. Kaitlyn and Jared are the kind of people who impact the lives of those around them. They are fiercely loyal and have the most generous hearts.

Kaitlyn and Jared snuck away from their reception for a few minutes of sunset portraits which was sooo worth it!!! They turned out so dreamy and romantic. I especially loved the veil Kaitlyn wore and how the light shining through made for some incredible images. They returned to their reception to dance, cut their cake, and do a garter and bouquet toss. For the grand exit, their guests held up strings of fairy lights for the couple to run under which turned out so beautiful!!!

I know without a doubt that their marriage will be lifelong and have the ability to weather any storm. Their commitment to one another and the Lord is steadfast and true. I am so honored I was able to capture their day. I love knowing that they will have these images for a lifetime to remember these magical moments they shared with each other and with the people they love most in this world.
