I was so honored when Kaitlyn and Jared reached out to me about photographing their upcoming wedding! When we met up at Starbucks to go over all the details, I knew right away that they were the kind of couple I LOVE working with. Their love for each other and for the Lord was so evident in our conversation. I loved hearing their story… how they met at their college and how Jared proposed! Kaitlyn is a nursing student and Jared is studying Biblical languages. Together they decided they wanted a Colorado mountain feel to their engagement pictures, and I knew just the spot!

Kaitlyn and Jared’s Mount Falcon Engagement Session was amazing. One of Kaitlyn’s requests was to incorporate their love of swing dancing, which of course we did! I was so impressed by their dance moves, and it made for the cutest pictures. I loved the ring Jared picked out for his fiancé. The detail is unique and so pretty. Kaitlyn wore a beautiful flowy dress that brought extra movement in a lot of their photos, and she paired it with the cutest hat!

We had so much fun hiking around the scenic overlook at Mount Falcon for their Colorado engagement pictures. I love engagement sessions because it allows me to get to know my couples, and it gives them a chance to get some practice in front of the camera before their big day! Kaitlyn’s sweet personality came through in every pose, and it was clear just how much Jared adores her! We ended with the couple dancing to the song “Can’t Help Falling in Love” by Elvis Presley, which they plan on using for their first dance at their upcoming wedding. I can’t wait to photograph Kaitlyn and Jared’s special day in just a few weeks. Congratulations to the sweetest couple!!!
