Castlewood Canyon Sunflowers Wedding

Amy and Richard’s wedding at Castlewood Canyon was full of sunshine, sunflowers, and so much love! This sweet couple met while working together at Starbucks, and the rest is history. Amy and Richard share a love of hiking and animals, including horses!

The day started with the couple sharing their first look at the Bridge Canyon Overlook at Castlewood Canyon State Park. After the first look, I took their couple’s portraits. I absolutely loved Amy’s stunning bridal bouquet, full of bright happy sunflowers!

The outdoor wedding ceremony at Castlewood Canyon had a beautiful view overlooking the mountain range. The couple’s dog, Finn, was the ring bearer. When it was time for him to bring the rings, he ran in the wrong direction! haha. Thankfully, someone redirected him and he fulfilled his wedding duties.

The reception was held at The Grange at The Meadows in Castle Rock, Colorado. It was such a fun wedding reception with an amazing taco bar, more sunflowers, lots of dancing, and of course, cake! We also snuck out of the reception for a few minutes of sunset portraits which were absolutely stunning.

The couple ended their perfect day with a bubble exit. It was so evident that Richard and Amy are dearly loved by all their family and friends. I am so thankful I got to capture these once in a lifetime moments for them!
