The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs is one of my all-time favorite wedding venues. Capturing Tim and Michelle’s intimate winter wedding at the Broadmoor was such a joy! The couple had previously eloped, and they chose to invite their closest family and friends to a brunch celebration. We started the day with portraits around the beautiful grounds of The Broadmoor. It was the perfect window between fall and winter. The trees still had their beautiful leaves, which was paired with a magical blanket of snow on the ground!
I absolutely loved Michelle’s “Megan lace maxi dress” from Saks Fifth Avenue. It was so fun that she chose a pink dress instead of the traditional white! We also took some portraits inside. The hallway with the stunning vintage wallpaper, and the romantic spiral staircase are some of my favorite spots!
For the ceremony, Tim and Michelle shared their love story with their guests. It was so sweet to hear them recount how they met, fell in love, eloped and had their precious son! Then they shared personal vows which did not leave a single eye dry. Then everyone enjoyed a delicious brunch reception at the Mountain Clubhouse, perfectly planned by KAE Events. The florals, table scape, and cake were beautifully designed. Many of the couple’s family members and friends shared meaningful toasts. It was clear that Tim and Michelle are deeply treasured by the people they love most. There were so many laughs and tears during the toasting!
It was such an honor to photograph this intimate winter wedding at The Broadmoor hotel in Colorado Springs. It truly was such a meaningful, beautiful celebration planned with such intention and care. I loved capturing these once in a lifetime moments for the sweetest couple. Congratulations, Tim and Michelle!
