Once you have decided that you and I are a great fit, contact me and let me know how I can serve you! Make sure to include what type of session you are interested in and who will be joining you. I will then send you my online scheduler so you can choose an available date.
Once we set a date, I will send your contract and invoice. Once your contract is signed and your retainer is paid, you are officially booked! I will email you my exclusive Style Guide which will go over location options, advice on outfit selections and tips on everything you can do to prepare for an amazing session!
It's time to start thinking about outfit choices! This is a great time to treat yourself to something you feel amazing in. You will also have access to my Client Closet, a curated collection of dresses that photograph like a dream!!! All of my gowns are bump and post-partum friendly. I will send you a Questionnaire two weeks before your shoot that will help me come prepared and make your experience amazing!
If we are doing an outdoor session, we will meet about 2 hours before sunset when the light is oh so dreamy! I will instruct you through all of poses (and fun activities if there are little ones) so you don't have to worry about how to stand or where to put your hands! No modeling experience necessary. All you have to do is have fun and focus on how much you love each other.
I will post a sneak peek of your session within 48 hours! Then I will edit your gallery to perfection. You will receive a link to your online gallery within 2-3 weeks from which you can download ALL of the images! However, I do encourage you to print your favorites. Print has such a powerful impact on our screen weary eyes! If you have selected the Motherhood Collection, we will work together to design the heirloom album included in your package.

My heart in creating this client closet was to take some of the stress and expense out of the process for you. All of my gowns are bump and post partum friendly, not to mention they photograph like a DREAM!!!
These dresses are designed to be flattering on all body types, pregnant or not. If you see one (or more!) you love, let me know and we'll schedule a little extra time right before your session for you to try them on. For outdoor sessions, I will bring a pop up changing tent for privacy. You deserve this luxury service!

Your album will be a precious family heirloom. It's a tangible reminder of the legacy you are building. It's created for today but I think it's most important for years later. Your story is worth being told and preserved with detail and attention, curated for the now but with the future in mind. This is why I believe the album is the most important part when it comes to your photography experience. It will tell your love story in a way that digital images on a screen just can’t compete with. Your album will be hand-crafted and made with museum grade materials, built to stand the test of time. It truly is a work of art!
I love documenting growing families! These sessions take place outdoors 2 hours before sunset for that glowy, dreamy light I just love!
These sessions take place 1-2 weeks after your baby is born in the comfort of your own home, or at STUDIO ONE in Centennial.
There are very few things as beautiful as a mama carrying new life. Let's show off that gorgeous bump!
The time of day we schedule your session is very important! I schedule all outdoor sessions about 2 hours before sunset. This gives us beautiful, dreamy, flattering light.
You may have heard the term “golden hour” which refers to this gorgeous sunset light that photographers love!
For newborn sessions, I recommend contacting me to schedule when you begin your second trimester, and penciling in a date for 7 - 14 days after your expected due date.
For the session time, I recommend late morning or early afternoon when we have lots of beautiful natural light coming in through the windows!

For mamas, I recommend choosing a long, flowy dress. They are flattering on all body types and photograph like a dream! Dresses that have layers are my favorite because they soften the look and look oh so romantic.
For colors, I recommended warm, light colored neutrals such as creams, grays and whites as they will give your images that fresh, light, airy look. Then incorporate soft colors such as pale pinks, faint blues or muted jewel tones. Avoid dark, heavy colors, bright primary colors, and bold patterns.
When you book with me, I will send you my Style Guide that will go over outfit selection in great detail!
02. What Should we wear?
After we set a time and date for your session, I will send you an electronic invoice and contract.
The contract can conveniently be signed online. A $150 retainer is due at the time of booking to reserve your date on my calendar.
For portrait sessions, the remainder is due the week of your session date.
For the Motherhood Collection, half of the remainder is due the week of your maternity session, and the rest is due the week of your newborn session.
03. WHEN IS PAYMENT DUE?
Depending on the season and how many clients I have that month, it may vary, but most of my clients receive their full gallery within two to three weeks.
You will receive a private online gallery of the high resolution, watermark free, professionally edited images in JPEG form. You can also forward the link to friends and family for them to download the images as well at no extra cost!
I will also provide a “sneak peek” of 1-3 of my favorite images on Instagram and Facebook within 48 hours of your shoot!
04. WHEN AND HOW WILL I RECEIVE MY PHOTOS?
When choosing outdoor locations, I am looking for both beautiful backgrounds, as well as places that allow me to control the light. Usually this means a place with trees or buildings that I can use to diffuse or block harsh light.
When you book with me, I will send you my Location Recommendation Guide that has examples of all of my favorite local spots for gorgeous portraits!!!
I am always up for exploring new locations if you would like to shoot somewhere else! Just keep in mind that I will almost always have you facing East so that we have gorgeous sunset backlighting, and even light on the front of you. I'll never have you facing the sun. Just keep that in mind when looking at locations. Light beats background, every time!!!
05. WHAT LOCATIONS DO YOU RECOMMEND?
Because your images are professional quality, they deserve professional printing! These high end prints ensure color accuracy and beautiful skin tones. I use a photo lab that uses the HIGHEST quality ink and photo paper. So much detail is lost in a poor quality print!
And the best part? They are very affordable! When you order prints through me, they ship directly to your home.
I edit your images on a monitor specifically calibrated for professional printing. Of course you are welcome to print anywhere you like, however if you choose to print elsewhere, I cannot guarantee they will look like the original edit.
