Before your big day I will send you a pre-wedding questionnaire. With that information we will work together on a custom timeline to plan your photography-friendly day so you can get all your dream photos! From bridal details to dreamy sunset portraits, we will make sure there is enough time for everything. We will also schedule a phone call 2 weeks before your wedding to make sure I am ready to document your day!

I will send you a sneak peek of your wedding within 1 week. Within 3 weeks, I will send you your featured blog post. This will include some of my favorite images from your wedding. Then I will edit your entire gallery to perfection. You will receive a link to your online gallery within 6-8 weeks from which you can download ALL of your gorgeous images!!!

Having time to get comfortable in front of the camera makes a HUGE difference on the wedding day. It will give you and your fiancé a chance to get a feel for my posing style, so that on your wedding day you will feel confident and at ease when it comes time for portraits!

01. What is the process for creating a custom wedding day timeline?
We will start with an example timeline based on the sunset time in month of your wedding. This example timeline will give you an idea of how much time I recommend for each part of the wedding day.
From there, I will send you a wedding day questionnaire that will give me all the details I need to adjust the timeline based on your day! Then two weeks before your wedding, we will schedule a phone call to go over all the details. Together we will make sure there is enough time for all of your dream photos!
If you are working with a wedding planner, I will coordinate with her to make sure your timeline is perfect!
01. WHAT IS THE PROCESS FOR CREATING A CUSTOM WEDDING DAY TIMELINE?
Tip #1 - Make we have at least 30 minutes for Bride and Groom Sunset Portraits!!! These will be the images that you will SWOON over, want to hang on your walls and put in your album! Promise!
Tip #2 - Have all your details in one place when I arrive as I usually start the day doing your detail shots. Rings, invitation suite, shoes, veil, jewelry, bouquet, and any other items that are meaningful to you. Having them all together will make it quick and ensure I don't miss anything!
Tip #3 - Bring a long, lightweight veil, even if it's just for portraits! If you've seen my work you know I LOVE veil toss and veil swoop images. They look oh so romantic and dreamy! A lightweight veil (without heavy beading) will really fly!
02. what are your best tips for a photography friendly wedding day?
Yes, yes, and yes!!! Here's why.
1. All of my couples that do a first look say that they loved having that special moment, just the two of them. And grooms often tell me that seeing their bride walking down the aisle was just as impactful and emotional as they imagined it would be!
2. It gives us so much more flexibility in your timeline. Not doing a first look means that we have to squeeze bride and groom portraits, bridal party portraits, and family formals all in between the ceremony and reception. This often feels rushed as we are trying to get it all in without keeping your guests waiting too long.
03. do you recommend we do a first look?
Depending on the season and how many weddings I have that month, it may vary, but most of my clients receive their full gallery within 4-6 weeks.
You will receive a private online gallery of the high resolution, watermark free, professionally edited images in JPEG form. You can also forward the link to friends and family for them to download the images as well at no extra cost!
Two weeks after your wedding, I will email you your featured blog post on my website with many of my favorite images of your day! I will also provide a “sneak peek” on Instagram and Facebook within 48 hours of your wedding!
04. WHEN AND HOW WILL I RECEIVE MY PHOTOS?
The Wedding Experience includes a 20-page, 8x8 linen album (a $300 credit!) I will walk you through the entire process so it's super simple for you.
I will create a custom design from your gallery and send you the proof for you to review and let me know if you would like any changes made. I include unlimited revisions as I want it to be just perfect!
You can choose from 3 different sizes, as well as different linen, leather or suede cover options. Once the design is finalized, I will order your album and it will be shipped right to you.
You will also have the option of ordering smaller parent albums for the parents of the bride and groom!
05. WHAT DOES THE CUSTOM HEIRLOOM ALBUM DESIGN AND ORDERING PROCESS LOOK LIKE?
Because your images are professional quality, they deserve professional printing! These high-end prints ensure color accuracy and beautiful skin tones. I use a photo lab that uses the HIGHEST quality ink and photo paper. So much detail is lost in a poor quality print!
And the best part? They are very affordable! When you order prints through me, they ship directly to your home.
I edit your images on a monitor specifically calibrated for professional printing. Of course you are welcome to print anywhere you like, however if you choose to print elsewhere, I cannot guarantee they will look like the original edit.
