Gosh I love our sweet little town of Castle Rock! Festival Park located in the downtown historic district is a perfect place for photos year around, but is especially fun at Christmas time. Every year the city sets up a giant 30 foot Christmas tree adorned with over 100,000 lights. It’s incredible!

Shannon and Jonathan chose this location for their annual family pictures this year. They have two sweet kiddos, Emmalee and Connor, and two more on the way. Shannon is pregnant with TWINS! It was a perfect time to capture their family, get those Christmas card pictures ready, and even get a few early maternity shots.

While I always make sure to get that perfect picture where everyone is looking at the camera and smiling, I love letting kids just run around and be themselves. They have fun, give genuine smiles, and I have no problem chasing small people around with my camera! 🙂 We had so much fun, letting the kids play around the park, having family tickle fights and stealing a few moments to get romantic shots of mom and dad.
