One of my dream goals for this year was to participate in a styled shoot! It’s an organized event with models and a designer who put together various sets. Then a select few photographers have the opportunity to let their creativity shine and take some fabulous images! The shoot was scheduled for May 20th, but Colorado spring weather can be really unpredictable. The morning of the shoot, it was SNOWING! A LOT! The snow turned into rain and thankfully let up as I was driving to the outdoor location in Colorado Springs. The first hour or so was ok but then the rain started again. It was a challenge I did not expect but it made me try things I normally might not have. Balancing an umbrella and a camera was interesting! The models were such troopers as it was quite cold. I was so impressed by everyone there, they all had great attitudes and made the most of what we had to work with that day. In the end it was a great experience and I left with beautiful images that I am very proud of.
