This past weekend I had the honor of second shooting Dave and Yoogin’s wedding for Danielle Roth Photo! It was a such a beautiful day. When I arrived, the bride was getting ready. I assisted Danielle with some detail shots and then a few getting ready shots as Yoogin put on the final touches. She looked absolutely radiant! She then shared a first look with her bridesmaids which was such a sweet moment.
Then we all headed to a nearby park where the Bride and Groom shared their first look. The look on his face said it all! After their Bride and Groom portraits and the bridal party photos we headed back to the church. Yoogin went back to her bridal suite to hide as the guests began to arrive. I just loved the traditional Korean dresses worn by the women in Yoogin’s family. They were gorgeous!
Yoogin’s father walked her down the isle. The ceremony was spoken in both Korean and English which was so meaningful and beautiful. During the ceremony, both Dave and Yoogin read letters they had written to their parents. I found myself tearing up at their words love and appreciation for the people who raised them. There were lots of tears of joy from the couple and their families. Then they were pronounced husband and wife!
It was an amazing day and I was so grateful to be a part of it. Congratulations, Dave and Yoogin! It was so evident that you two are LOVED, both by each other and your wonderful families. May your marriage be blessed!
