I met Danielle and Lance a few weeks ago for their beautiful maternity session, and now here we are, capturing their lifestyle newborn session for baby Avery Grace!!! I just love seeing my Motherhood Collection clients again after they have had their baby! I started with some detail images of her lovely nursery while mama picked out a dress from my ES Client Closet. Danielle chose a long sleeve, blush gown that looked absolutely stunning on her!

I swaddled baby Avery and within seconds, she was oh so cozy and fast asleep. I loved how her little toes were showing. There is really nothing cuter than baby feet! Sweet Avery was an absolute angel for her lifestyle newborn session. We took some really sweet images in the nursery, master bedroom, and even the living room! I also set up a basket and fur rug for Avery’s individual portraits. Daddy wanted to incorporate some rose petals from their rose garden which I thought was just so sweet.

I’ve been thinking a lot lately about what it is that inspires me. Inspiration can come from a lot of places, but the one I always come back to is this. Human connection. I believe it is the most powerful, beautiful thing this side of heaven. Seeing new parents marvel at the tiny person their love created fills my heart in a way that is hard to explain. The fact that I get to witness this love, tenderness and connection and capture it in a way that will last for generations is such a gift.
